About Management and Sustainability
VISION
My vision is the development of sustainable communities, sustainable communities in my county, state and nation.
MISSION
CORE VALUES
The core values which support my vision are:
- Integrity - Professional, trustworthy, and honest. I cannot do without trust, I am honest, I expect trust and demand honesty.
- Customer Focus - means figuring out who your customers are. They should value the same things you do. You then meet them, form some kind of relationship and find out what they are doing. With this knowledge you are prepared to give them an idea. You can then see where it goes. They may give you a task to do, a different idea to pursue, or they may pursue your idea. Thus, begins a professional relationship. It all begins by knowing your customer, what he values and providing creative ideas.
- Continuous Improvement - is required to get you from your mission to your vision. If you have no vision, it is harder to improve. If your mission and vision are too close together, you leave little room for improvement. If your values are not consistent with others, you won't find customers, and passionate employees and you won't ever reach your vision.
- Development of Others - is necessary to get the help you are going to need to reach your vision. Others won't be excited about helping you reach your vision if you are not helping them reach their vision. If you both have the same vision, so much the better. A whole community developing each other and passionately chasing the same vision which is a moral imperative is better than a company where the machinery of bureaucracy is the only thing than binds people together
